Blood Sugar Testing

Hello Health Seeker

Our clinic specializes in holistic approaches to wellness, and we're excited to introduce BioScope – a powerful tool designed to map your inflammation and uncover hidden health risks. It is well known that inflammation is the root cause behind most chronic diseases. While acute inflammation is a vital immune response for healing injuries and fighting infections, prolonged or chronic inflammation acts as a silent culprit, gradually degrading your health.  Imagine using just one drop of blood to visualize the degree of inflammation negatively impacting your body – this is the essence of oxidative stress.Ready to Map Your Inflammation? > >

Convenient and Accessible Testing

We offer home kits that can be mailed to you for easy sample collection and returned for professional assessment. No need for in-person visits to get started – monitor your progress from the comfort of home.

Ready to Map Your Inflammation?

Monitor Oxidative Stress with Verifiable Results

Are you truly achieving your health goals? If you're aiming to slow aging, reduce inflammation and pain, or prevent degeneration through supplements, diet, and lifestyle changes – how do you know if you're hitting the mark? Test, Don’t Guess. BioScope helps you: - Indicate locations of organ or tissue damage - Determine potential causes of health issues - Identify pathogens contributing to chronic low-grade inflammation and health problems - Assess the severity of toxic load - Evaluate lymphatic stress Gauge skin health and antioxidant sufficiency - Detect bowel toxicity These insights provide a comprehensive view of your body's inflammatory state, empowering you to make informed decisions for better health.

The Science Behind BioScope

Measuring oxidative stress was pioneered by Dr. Emanuel Goldberger in 1939 as a simple bedside method to assess disease severity, known as the Oxidative Stress Test (OST). In 1979, Robert Bradford founded the Bradford Research Institute and collaborated with researchers Heitan and LeGard to form the Metabolic Research Project. This group deepened our understanding of the blood clotting cascade, connecting biochemical processes to observable patterns in dried blood samples. These advancements enhanced the test's ability to reveal oxidative stress, inflammation, and overall metabolic health. Here's how it works: One drop of blood contains millions of cells and plasma fluid. In a dry blood sample, the water evaporates, causing solutes to separate, move, and settle into unique patterns. These patterns are specific to each individual at the time of sampling and can indicate altered homeostatic balance, nutrient deficiencies, and other health markers. At Restorative Naturopathy, we elevate the OST method by combining it with microscopic analysis of dry blood, alongside a urine analysis that provides a numerical value for oxidative stress. This dual approach gives a clear picture: the urine analysis shows current inflammation levels, while the dry blood analysis reveals the actual tissue-level damage occurring.
